Steam Jacketed Kettle is a self contained unit used for preparation of starch paste for granulation section. Kettle is a hemispherical shaped double walled vessel with jacket for steam heating. Jacket is insulated with mineral glass-wool to avoid heat loss and safety of operator. The material is mixed with the help of anchor type agitator driven by a helical geared motor. The kettle can be tilted for discharge of the finished product with the help of worm and worm wheel arrangement. Speed of anchor blade is variable and can be varied with the help of variable AC frequency drive.
